What is a sex machine?
Sex machines are powered toys: a motor drives a dildo or attachment so you don't have to, usually in and out at a pace you dial in; a ride-on saddle may vibrate instead, or thrust and vibrate at once. In position, the machine runs itself from a dial, remote or app. Here: compact, app-controlled and clamp-on frame machines, two ride-on saddles, and a bench and a bondage chair with machines built in.
Sex machine, thrusting machine or fucking machine?
Three names, one toy. Sex machine is the broad term; thrusting machine, or thrusting sex machine, means one that drives a dildo in and out; fucking machine is the blunt name for any of these. A saddle, or ride-on sex machine, you sit astride. Hand-held thrusters you hold or stick down are toys, not machines: see thrusting dildos and vibrators.
Types of sex machines
Compact thrusting machines
Small, rechargeable, portable and easy to store, the Lux Fetish Compact Sex Machine grips most flat surfaces with a round suction-cup base, tilts on a knob at the base, and runs from its wireless remote or on-unit controls. Two smooth silicone dildo attachments, one of them veined, detach for cleaning: 6.75 inches insertable, a 1.5-inch diameter. More remote control vibrators.
App-controlled sex machines
The Lovense Sex Machine takes a wired remote or its own app, which brings long-distance control and multimedia sync. Tilt and stroke length adjust (up to 4.5 inches) at up to 300 strokes per minute; its listing says it runs quietly. Vac-U-Lock compatible, it ships with two silicone attachments and two adapters, so other Vac-U-Lock attachments fit. Simple assembly, 27.5 pounds, storage bag included. More app-controlled and long-distance toys.
Clamp-on frame machines
The Dicktator 2.0 is a thrusting machine on an adjustable stand: suction cups lock the base to the floor, and a stabilizing arm fixes it to your own chair, bench, cage or swing (it's designed to mount to a bench sold separately); set-up takes under five minutes. The machine rides up or down the stand, angles to suit, and a multi-speed dial runs it up to 195 RPM. A thick, veined TPE dildo comes attached: 5.5 inches insertable, 2.4-inch thrust. 39 inches tall, on wall power. More sex furniture.
Thrusting ride-on saddles
The Bucking Saddle is the one you straddle while it thrusts and vibrates beneath you. Four silicone attachments swap onto a Vac-U-Lock adapter: a ribbed G-spot/P-spot shaft, a round penetrative head, a phallic shaft and a smooth clitoral pad for grinding. Its battery remote (AAA not included) runs 10 thrusting speeds plus 3 vibration speeds and 7 patterns; its range is up to 32 feet. Wall power; about 19.5 inches long, with a carrying strap at either end. More grinding sex toys.
Vibrating ride-on saddles
The LoveBotz Saddle Pro vibrates rather than thrusts: straddle the base and rumbly vibration runs up through the silicone attachment stretched over it, one of four: a dildo (5.5 inches insertable), a double-penetration attachment (5-inch dildo, 2.8-inch anal part), a rounded ball end (5.5 inches) or a nub to rub against. Knobs set speed and pattern; wall power; the frame is rated to 485 pounds, and its side rings take cuffs, tethers, ropes or chains. More rumbly vibrators and toys.
Benches and chairs with a machine
Ride the Deluxe Bangin Bench on its elastic straps for a bouncy ride, or on PU-leather cushions with its removable thrusting machine attached (it works off the bench too), the dildo angled for seated, forward, reclined, front-facing or reversed positions. Steel frame rated to 220 pounds; up to 195 strokes per minute, set from the wired remote's variable-speed dial. The Ultimate Obedience Chair reclines from upright to fully laid back: quick-release straps, two D-rings, a wood-and-iron frame rated to 440 pounds, and a detachable machine thrusting up to 195 RPM from a corded handheld dial. More bondage restraints.
How to choose a sex machine
- Thrusting, vibrating or both. Six of the seven thrust; both at once, the Bucking Saddle; vibration only, the Saddle Pro.
- Power and controls. Rechargeable: the compact machine. Wall power: the Dicktator, both saddles, the bench, the chair. Controls: dials, knobs, wireless, battery and wired remotes, one app.
- Speed and stroke. App-controlled machine: up to 300 strokes per minute, 4.5-inch stroke. Dicktator and chair: 195 RPM, 2.4 and 2.36-inch thrusts. Bench: 195 strokes per minute, 2.36-inch thrust. Bucking Saddle: 10 thrusting speeds.
- Stability, size and weight limits. Suction cup and tilt knob (compact machine); floor base, clamp arm and sliding stand (Dicktator). Heights: Dicktator 39 inches, chair 57. Rated loads: 485 pounds (Saddle Pro), 440 (chair), 220 (bench).
- Attachments. Silicone: the compact machine (two), the app-controlled machine (two, Vac-U-Lock), the Bucking Saddle (four, Vac-U-Lock), the Saddle Pro (four). TPE: the Dicktator, bench and chair.
- Noise. Expect motor noise; only the app-controlled machine's listing mentions it.
- Partner and restraint play. Straps and D-rings on the chair, side rings on the Saddle Pro: both take cuffs; a remote or app hands a partner the controls.
How to use a sex machine
- Assemble it on a stable surface: suction cups down, clamp arm tight, cushions or straps fitted.
- Wash the attachment; water-based lube on it and on you.
- Get into position with the machine off.
- Lowest speed and shortest stroke first, then build.
- Hold the controls yourself, or agree on limits and a stop word with whoever does; the rider's limits win.
- Off before any change of position or attachment.
- Unplug, wash the attachment, dry everything.
Cleaning, care and safety
- Unplug first; motor and electronics stay dry, only attachments get washed.
- Wash attachments after each use in warm, lightly soapy water or with toy cleaner; dry fully. The bench's PU leather takes a damp cloth with toy cleaner.
- Lube. Water-based with silicone (the Bucking Saddle takes nothing else). TPE is porous: keep oil and petroleum products off it, and a condom on it if you share.
- Anal only with an attachment built for it (the Bucking Saddle's ribbed shaft, the Saddle Pro's double-penetration attachment): slowly, lots of lube, never forced, washed before any vaginal use.
- Restraints and weight limits. Never leave someone strapped in alone with the machine running; quick-release buckles and keys within reach; check the rated load before anyone climbs on.
- Pain means stop. Switch off at once, and if pain, bleeding or numbness carries on afterward, talk to your doctor.
Sex machine FAQ
How much does a sex machine cost?
Prices change, so check each product page; the compact rechargeable machine is the least expensive piece here, the ride-on saddles and the bondage chair the most. What pushes the price up: frames, saddles, furniture, wall-powered motors and app control.
How does a sex machine work?
Inside is a motor; an arm or piston turns its spin into a push and pull, so the attachment moves in and out at whatever speed you set. The app-controlled machine sets stroke length too, up to 4.5 inches. A saddle puts the motor under the seat.
Can you use a sex machine for anal?
Only with an attachment built for anal use: the Bucking Saddle's ribbed G-spot/P-spot shaft or the Saddle Pro's double-penetration attachment (2.8-inch anal part); nothing else here is listed for anal play. Slowly, plenty of lube, never force it, and wash it before vaginal use.
Are sex machines good for men?
Yes, with the right attachment. Thrusting machines suit anyone who wants penetration; the Saddle Pro's nub is for rubbing against, and the Bucking Saddle's ribbed shaft is made for the G-spot or P-spot alike. Machines for a penis: blowjob machines and automatic strokers.
What attachments fit a sex machine?
Whatever its mount takes. The app-controlled machine and the Bucking Saddle use Vac-U-Lock, so other Vac-U-Lock toys fit; the compact machine includes two silicone dildos, the Saddle Pro four silicone attachments; the Dicktator, bench and chair come with a TPE dildo. More dildos.
Are sex machines loud?
Some noise, from any of them: a motor makes sound. Only one listing here mentions noise, the app-controlled machine's, which describes that machine as quiet; the other six give no noise level, so plan on hearing it.
Can a partner control a sex machine?
Yes. The Bucking Saddle's remote reaches up to 32 feet, the app-controlled machine's app works long-distance, and any dial can change hands; settle limits and a stop word first. The chair's straps and the Saddle Pro's rings take cuffs; never leave a restrained partner alone with it running.
What is a ride-on sex machine?
A saddle you straddle, with the motor underneath you. The Bucking Saddle thrusts and vibrates, with four Vac-U-Lock attachments and a remote; the Saddle Pro vibrates only, with four stretch-on attachments and a frame rated to 485 pounds.
