What is Tenga?
Tenga is a brand of strokers, also called male masturbators: hand-held sleeves made for a penis. The Tenga toys here run from single-use Tenga Eggs to reusable sleeves. Among those, the Spinner Tetra twists as you stroke, five Flip Zero models include two that vibrate, the Flip 360 has texture all the way round and the Puffy is soft and squeezable.
Single-use or reusable?
Tenga Eggs are officially single-use. Each one is a porous TPE sleeve that takes water-based lube only and is done at its first tear. The rest are reusable. The Spinner Tetra has its own drying stand, most Flips open up to clean, and the Puffy's cover and cap come off. Testing a texture? Grab an Egg. Coming back for more? Go reusable.
Types of Tenga toys
Tenga Egg
Each Tenga Egg holds a stretchy TPE sleeve that unfolds over you and stretches to fit. Singles come in seven textures (Bouncy, Cubic, Lovers, Silky, Starry, Twister and Wavy), and all but Starry include lube. The Egg Standard 3-Pack bundles Wavy (rolling ribs), Starry (dense bumps) and Cubic (overlapping cubes).
Tenga Spinner
In the Tenga Spinner Tetra, a coiled core makes the sleeve rotate as you move it, twisting each stroke over geometric tiles with mild edges. The removable stroker lives in its own can, dries on a built-in stand and is fully reusable; a lotion sample comes with it.
Tenga Flip Zero
The Tenga Flip Zero White packs four zones (a layered end orb, ridge wall, ripple dome and triple chain gate), strong suction and a case you squeeze to set the grip. The Flip Zero Black shares its zones and size but is firmer, with more pronounced details and stronger suction. The Flip Zero Gravity has soft pressure pads and density-packed details for a smooth glide. All three flip open to clean.
Vibrating Flip Zero
Both vibrating Flip Zeros put two cores inside the elastomer sleeve and charge via USB. The Flip Zero White Vibrating has 5 modes: low, high, pulse, alternating and random. The Flip Zero Black Vibrating has 5 settings, and its pressure pads set the suction. Only the White lists water and run-time figures: waterproof up to 19.5 inches (keep its charging base dry), and about 40 minutes at full power from a roughly 90-minute charge.
Tenga Flip 360
The Tenga Flip 360 wraps texture 360 degrees around the inside, with no flat spots. Closed, squeeze its pressure pads to tighten the grip or ease off; flipped open on its hinge, it's easy to rinse and air-dry. Choose Aurora Green or Midnight Purple; a stand, a case and two single-use lotions come with it.
Tenga Puffy
Softness is the point of the Tenga Puffy: an ultra-soft, spongy material gives a gentle, cushioned feel for when tighter toys feel like too much. Squeeze its soft case to adjust the pressure. Its texture depends on color: waves (Brown), beads (Green) or micronubs (White). More pocket pussies and male strokers.
How to choose a Tenga
- Once or for keeps. Eggs are officially single-use; the rest are reusable.
- The feel. Twisting (Spinner Tetra), zoned (Flip Zero White, Black), gliding (Gravity), textured all round (Flip 360) or cushioned (Puffy).
- Grip. Squeeze the Flip Zero White's case, the Gravity's or Flip 360's pads, or the Puffy's case.
- Vibration. Only the two vibrating Flip Zeros buzz; for a motor that strokes for you, see automatic strokers.
- Size. About 5.11 inches tall (Spinner Tetra, stretching to about 6.73 inches insertable) or 7.09 (Flip Zero White, Black and White Vibrating, 6.73 inches insertable).
How to use a Tenga
- Wash your hands, and give a new reusable sleeve a rinse.
- Use the included lotion sample, if there is one, or water-based lube.
- Egg? Lift the sleeve out, lube the inside and let it unfold over you.
- Slide in slowly, then find your rhythm.
- Squeeze the case or pads, if your model has them, to change the grip.
- Vibrating? Start low and work up.
- Clean it and let it dry fully before storing it.
Cleaning, drying and care
- After each session, rinse a reusable sleeve with warm water and dry it completely.
- Porous sleeves: TPE and elastomer take water-based lube only; never share one unwashed.
- Flip-Open models: dry them open (the Flip 360 in its flipped position).
- Spinner Tetra: dry it on its built-in stand.
- Puffy: remove the Top Cover before washing so water stays out of the inner structure.
- Vibrating models: keep the White's charging base dry; the Black lists no water rating, so keep its electronics dry.
Tenga FAQ
What is a Tenga Egg?
A Tenga Egg is a stroker made for one session: a stretchy, textured TPE sleeve packed in an egg-shaped polypropylene shell. The sleeve stretches to fit. Singles come in seven textures, and the 3-Pack bundles three.
How do you use a Tenga Egg?
Take the sleeve from its shell, put lube inside and slide in slowly, letting it stretch around you. Six of the seven singles include lube; otherwise, use a water-based one. Find your pace, then retire it.
Are Tenga Eggs reusable?
Officially, no: Tenga Eggs are single-use. The singles' listing says careful washing can buy one an encore or two (water-based lube only, then a full dry), but retire it at the first tear; the 3-Pack's listing says use each egg once. Everything else here is reusable.
How do you use a Tenga Spinner?
Add the included lotion sample (or a water-based lube), slide in and stroke as usual: the coiled core turns each stroke into a twist. Go slowly at first, then wash it and dry it on its stand.
Which Tenga should I buy first?
An Egg or the Egg 3-Pack lets you sample textures; for a reusable first stroker, try the Spinner Tetra, which twists as you stroke, or the Flip Zero White, with four zones and strong suction. More beginner-friendly toys.
Tenga Flip Zero White vs Black: what's the difference?
Firmness and suction: the Black's internal material is firmer, its details more pronounced and its suction stronger than the White's. Both have the same four zones, Flip-Open case, 7.09-inch height, 6.73-inch insertable length and lotion sample.
How do you clean a Tenga Flip?
Open the case, rinse every surface under warm water and let it dry fully before closing it. Keep the White Vibrating's charging base dry, and since the Black Vibrating lists no water rating, follow its instructions.
