Which strap-on is right for you?

How to get the fit right

• Measure first. Check where the harness will sit against the listed range: the Heavenly Harness adjusts from 28 to 62 inches at the waist, and the Montero fits hips up to 69 inches.
• Match the base to the ring. The dildo's base must be wider than the O-ring so it can't slip through. The Montero ships with an interchangeable 2-inch ring; the Ultra Thigh uses a 1.75-inch ring.
• Go firm. A firmer shaft is easier to control in a harness; dual-density dildos like VixSkin give you a firm core under a softer surface.
• Sit it high. Position the O-ring over your pubic bone and tighten the straps until the dildo stays put when you move.

Pegging and strap-on tips for first-timers

• Talk first. Agree on pace, a stop word and what's off the table.
• Start smaller than you think. A slimmer shaft is the kinder first step, and you can always size up.
• Use more lube than seems reasonable, on the toy and the receiver, and reapply often. For anal, a thicker anal lube helps.

What's the difference between a strap-on and a strapless strap-on?
