What is a ball gag?
A ball gag, or gag ball, is a BDSM gag: a ball held in the mouth by a strap that fastens behind the head. It muffles speech, and that's the point: power exchange and the feeling of being silenced. Breathing happens through the nose. It's one kind of mouth gag; others, like ring gags and Jennings gags, hold the mouth open. Types of ball gags and mouth gags
Breathable ball gags

How to choose a ball gag
- Ball or open. A ball muffles speech; a ring gag or a Jennings holds the mouth open instead.
