Summer Sex: How to Keep It Cool and Comfortable As Temps Rise

Emily Ray |

In the summertime there are less clothes, more skin, and higher energy levels for many people. The winter can bring lower energy, but as the weather changes and anticipation for the summer begins, many people perk up. That said, as the temperatures rise and things get hotter overall, knowing how to enhance your sex and take advantage of the season change is a smart plan. If you are in a long-term relationship, and you have not been having sex as often, the summertime is a perfect time to kickstart things. Spending time outdoors by taking walks and enjoying each other’s company outside can provide an energy boost.

Keep in mind that if you are having sex outdoors in the summer time you should be aware of other people who could happen across your sexual activities. Finding a campsite that is a little more secluded, an empty meadow that has taller grass, or places that are a little bit farther away from civilization can all be top tips.

Trying New Things

Trying new things can also be perfect for establishing excitement. There are many activities that create adrenaline and people, such as concerts, picnics, amusement parks, and more. Doing something new together that get your heart rate up can also pay dividends. An active day on the lake can be fantastic, but make sure not to work too hard or get dehydrated while in the process of your pre-sex fun.

Sleeping Naked

Sleeping without any clothes on is also a fantastic way to get more skin to skin contact and intimacy. Both of these things can lead to sexual fun, and they can also enhance your experience.

Use Protection

Even as things start to get hot and steamy, make sure to take some protection with you. In addition, take some time to enjoy the moment and partake in foreplay. Whether you are camping outdoors, or getting it on indoors, foreplay is a recommended addition to any sexual experience. Make sure not to fall asleep naked after having sex outside, and avoid places like hiking trails and beaches were sand can get in your crevices and people can happen upon you.
